I have had an off feeling about the neighbor for the past week. Turns out my gut instinct was right. I got out of bed to move my alarm clock (that the kids turned) and when I turned around I could see him through my curtains trying to look in around the edges and crouching down. I was freaked out and just stood there. I sat there a few minutes trying to decide whether or not to call the cops. After a few minutes I decided to do it. They came out and took a report. They went over to talk to the guy. He was trashed. Apparently he is an alcoholic looking for a job and just moved in with his mom three weeks ago. They told him not to step foot off his porch again (my bedroom window is within a few feet of his back patio door). They can't do anything unless they actually see him trying to look in. If I see him trying anything again, I need to call them, but like I said, nothing they can do right now. :( I am really freaked out and shaking still (an hour later). Sleep won't be coming anytime soon for me tonight :(
